You're not your, siryour just little jumped up children.
To be fair, your first post did seem to imply you were buying from a FIAT dealer. Still, what do we know

Not sure that's the ops problem.I'm just speculating but - only one key - this sounds like it could be the sort of car that a reputable FIAT dealer wouldn't touch - which just might be why it's ended up being sold outside the main dealer network. If so, this may only be the start of the OP's problems....

Personally, I'm grateful to 500ski. First, his rudeness and stupidity is quite amusing. Second, it makes me appreciate decent nice people so much more.
Seriously, have a dig at him! It's far more fun than being the big man![]()
Plenty of ex-pat autolocksmiths in spain, Usually along the coast.
Get prices first.
Good luck
Hmmmmmm now is there anyone i would trust less than a locksmith who has "retired" to the Costa del Sol?
Hello Team
I bought from auction a few days ago a 2011 500 popular. It only came with one key, the remote one.
I have read through all previous posts and I would like to avoid paying for another remote key. I would be happy with a non-remote key to use in an emergency.
I saw on ebay a blank for approx £3. I would post a link but as a newbie Im not allowed to.
My question is do you think a "regular" key shop could cut this key blank, or am I just wasting my time. Any comments/advice welcome.
Automotive keys seem very odd these days. Recently I had to pay £98 to a locksmith for one for a 10 year old DAF truck but only £12.86 for one for a 2 year old Jag.
Thanks
Jules
OK thank you for that.
Would I be right in thinking that a key blank once cut to my original will unlock the door (manually using the door handle lock) and turn off the alarm and start the car. But wont work remotely?
Or am I wrong?
