General Key button dead!!!

Ok next problem- my micro switch key button has died. I replaced it with another micro switch from another multi key but I think I broke it while removing it. Is there anywhere I can buy this switch from or is that the end of button unlocking.

eBay Italy has them for sale..... Try taking it into maplin and see if they can match it from their stock

I managed to dismantle my button and get it working again, Fiat said it needed a new key/reprogram $$$$$$!!!!
It's pretty fiddly but basically the springy metal needed a bit of a reload!!
Working fine ever since.

Yeah I think mines past that as the tiny plastic side bits on it have snapped of so I need to see if I can get that little switch!! Darn thing. Thanks anyways

It might be worth trying a small switch that Farnell sell. This is an old thread that I put the link in:

I've not tried one myself so can't guarantee that it'll work, but might be worth a try. The down side is the rip-off that Farnell now charge for small parts delivery. Still, the switch maker and their part number is there, so you might get lucky googling it.
