Hello guys...this morning I started my Panda which has been parked out of my garage this night, and I noticed it didn't want to do itB)!After the 3rd attempt I pressed a little bit the accelerator and it started even if running with 3 cylinders (my opinion:))...this went on for a couple of second and then the engine kept on running fine as usual[8D],and the problem hasn't reappeared! This is the 1st time it shows problems, I thought it could be some water in the cylinders due to an head gasket gone, but there aren't signs of that failure;)...no coolant loss and creamy deposits! The spark plugs have only 5000km...the cables and distibutor cap are old but the rubber's still soft, maybe they cause problems with low temperatures and high humidity[:0]?Any advice will be appreciated...:p

Was there a lot more condensation on the outside of the car than usual?

If so, you may have spark plug lead (cables) problems - as you have already guessed.

When the cables are not a tight fit anymore, and the metal cools below the dew point, water condenses out in awkward places.

You could try giving the cables and distributor cap a really good clean - and make sure it all fits back together again snugly.

Once you have got them all cleaned, dried and snug, give them a good spray with ignition sealer. Some people don't like using it because it attracts dirt but if you put plenty on it will clean off easily next spring when the weather gets better.

85% of Marea HLX drivers have speeding tickets.... lol they'll have to catch me first.
