The Creative Zen Nano 1gb is much better IMO.

iPods tend to lack features, but just work, and are easy to use.

turns out its apple policy to void the warrenty if the unit has any level of damage whether cosmetic or not. such as a guy with a small crack on the screen not getting his battery replaced under warrenty for the same reason.
love the style of the ipods but apple seem to be riding on the style over function/reliability

must admit, seduced by the thought of the ipod mini, but now considering what a bunch of high and mighty toffee noses apple are being in this country over warranties and the fact that although all the units are made in the same place but we treated so badly as consumers, i think i'll give my money to lexar, buy a bigger mem stick duo for my phone, and save a pocket for something far more worthwhile than an ipod, fresh air
oh and by the way, ipod theft, snatches and robberies are so high now, the police computers have a special catagory just for them, it appears the distinctive headphones and wires act as a magnet on the criminal class
