Re: Insurance

She drives it more than you then?

At the OP: where the hell do you live? Helmand Province?

No i treat it as my car and use it eveyday as my car just the insurance was gonna b 6000 so the papaer works in her name

you are not insured then and have committed fraud by giving false information to obtain goods or services. not very cleaver posting that you have done it on an open forum either

True, ask her if she minds if you crash her car, or someone hits you and she gets nothing for her car.

PS. £810 on Abarth GP, 25, 4 yr NCB, 23yr old GF on it as well.

Really?

I've got a friend whose wifes name is on all the paperwork when it comes to insurance on the car with him as a named driver, just because he's never had a policy of his own & they want something silly for his insurance despite him driving for 20years etc, and his wife stopped driving years ago after an accident so hes the only driver.

Would this also be classed as uninsured or ?

Basically yes if she is the registered main driver.

for all the people with NCB, you have to remember that insurance prices significantly rose a few months ago, and also the VAT increase.

I was paying £1200 for my first year on a X reg 1.2 8v punto; 18, fully comp, mom as a named driver

I'm in my second year now and it's £1300, 19, fully comp, one years NCB, and mom as a named driver still

But to the OP, £6000 seriously!?

hey, been driving since october and crashed my first car which was a 94 corsa B in november, its now more than 3 year ago so isnt declared on my insurance, thats how i lost the first year.

second year was driving a 98 hyundai accent coupe, had to cancel the insurance 2 month early due to losing my job.

was a named driver on my parents 59 megane untill a few days ago when i bought my punto

£6kpa??.....read between the lines, they are cherry picking and dont want to take the risk you pose on.

For my 1.4 grande punto I currently pay 550 fully comp with 4 yrs ncb that's with churchill, been quoted some silly quotes when ringing up companies,
