A week or two back my injector warning light came on for my 2003 B654 Hymer Motorhome, 2.8 diesel, automatic. At the same time the fan kicked up a notch and when the ignition was turned off, the engine fan remained on, only stopping when the fuse in the dash was removed.
I have driven it since and both issues remain.
So today it is with the garage and they want to attach to the OBD port, but can't find it, it isn't by the bonnet release.

A couple of questions really. Where on my van is the OBD port. Also any suggestions what my issue might be based on your knowledge/experience?

Thank you.

The fact that your motorhome is a Hymer conversion is irrelevant in the current context. What matters is the make and model of the base vehicle. I most strongly suspect that your base vehicle is an x230 2.8jtd Fiat Ducato. For confirmation check the first three numbers of the VIN, which will probably be of thr format ZFA230............ Production of the x230 model ceased in mid 2002, but conversion, and sales delays will explain the later registration date. Also on later models the engine cooling fan fuses are located in the engine bay, and not the cab as you mention.
The x230 model does not have the 16 pin OBDII port. Instead ther will be a 3 pole connector (2 poles connected) in the vicinity of the air filter. An adapter lead is required, and it may well be the case that your local garage will not have this adapter lead.
Have you taken note of the engine temperature gauge reading? If the engine is over temperature when switching off, then the cooling fan will continue running until the temperature is reduced.
To read Fiat ECU fault codes the software Multiecuscan (MES), which runs on a Windows computer, is frequently recommended on this forum. The company "Gendan" is a possible supplier, they will also be able to supply the necessary cables, and importantly advice as to what is required.
