i have to agree. However, I often find I have to mute the sound anyway to blank out my awful singing
The only thing I find the sound recording useful for is to mention the vehicle reg - I say the reg first then spell it out phonetically because I find that most of the time, the other car's reg doesn't always show clearly enough for the camera to get a decent shot.

Got mine and have installed it. Not done the rear camera yet. Quite happy with it so far. Now reviewing some video's.

Attached are pics of where its setup. I will eventually move the 12v to a hidden socket inside the centre console.

I had one of those, lasted but a few moments before burning itself out
Sent a replacement, turned out the audio was really ropey - and you have to cover those IR LEDs as your windscreen just whites out the pic!

have to say, for the money, the one I linked to above (dual lens) is really good at night. The rear lens is fantastic at night for reversing - far better than my pucker reversing camera.

Not good! Mine seems to be fine so far, need to pull a recording off and send it to the council actually haha.

i'll try to remember a picture tommorow night - but its a long day tommorow so it might be thursday

I've trolled throught my paypal - Paid £2.50 and it says its was a Nokia BL-5C battery
the images look right on ebay for it
