Just bought a Y-reg light met-blue Punto. Tis just the basic 1.2 8v and it's the first car I've ever owned (been driving my pop's car's for the last 6 years!!).
I've got a warranty on it, so engine mods are pretty much out of the question, but I'm mucking about with the interior a bit, so am looking for advice was just wondering on a few points.
See with the gear knob, is it easy to change. I know the list of possible gear knobs available are limited by the pull up reverse (like in Clios). Secondly, the handbrake. How easy is it to fit an aftermarket one? And thirdly (final question
) How easy is it to set up an after market stereo system? My Punto only has the basic Blanpunkt cassette deck with 2 speakers and the tweeters. I know I'd need a conversion facia thing for the head unit, but is it easy to fit speakers and the like? I was thnking 6 x 9s in the back and some replacement speakers in the front doors.
Anyway, sorry bout the long post, just needing to hear from people that have been there and done that. Much appreciate any advice.
