I've only had the car (2013 Chrysler Delta) a week and already managed to stuff it up.
Over the last few years with having 5 different cars in about 7 years I have amassed a few Android head units and associated wiring.
So I thought, surely one of the looms & HU's would work in the delta.
So I disconnected the factory unit. Depinned the power leads from one or the looms I had. Delta plug has black, red/green. There's also white & blue in can A & can B. ISO connector has black, red and yellow, plus an orange wire for the parking brake.
I tried different combinations of yellow to red/green, red to red/green etc. Nothing would turn the HU on despite getting 12V going into the head unit. Tried 4 different units all with the same result and all good fuses.
Now comes the bit where I hit problems.
All the time I was trying out the different connections the A/C was working fine. Decided to quit for dinner so put everything back together again. But now neither the radio or the A/C come on. I'm also getting the flashing mileage readout plus a Message saying Alarm no longer available.
Any ideas what I've done wrong?

Have you disconnected the battery playing with the cables?

Flashing mileage means proxi alignment is needed, as the car CAN gets an information that one of the can modules is disconnected. I'd assume original radio, although might be the alarm...

I don't have access for the Delta docs right now, but I'm attaching two for the Bravo, which could be a hint. Or even the same. As the models are closely related.

Hi and thanks for that. Even though I don't fully understand it . Probably best to bring up diagrams on my laptop and follow the text on my phone.
I have left the battery disconnected overnight so hopefully that will be enough to reset things.

No I didn't think to disconnect the battery.
Reconnected the radio and the battery this morning. Still no radio and A C. I also had warning messages on the multi function display. However these disappeared after a while. Not sure if it was the driving about 2 miles or the trick of turning the steering from lock to lock. Which I had read can help reset some things such as the steering angle sensor.
Is there any sequence I can do to reset the radio. Or do I need a diagnostic tool to do it.
I have a couple of dongles but none specifically mention Delta 1.6. I'm thinking using fiat Bravo settings might work. I'll give that a try and report back soon.
