General I keep seeing Tempra SW's around here

I regularly see 3 different SW's around the South Oxon area,
all driven by people who probably bought them from new, ;)

amazing how the famed guy who was bought in to make them mile munchers, obviously did a fantastic job:worship:

I'd still have a TD in my fleet,

my SW was the 2.0 IE,
fast - but not my cup of tea after the tipo TD's ,

Who was it?

Ah the 1.9 TD.

I dread to know what was spewing out behind, but as the oil pressure gauge settled in and the turbo gauge started to climb, those miles just seemed to roll on by (y)(y)

FIAT brought in the Guy who saved Peugeot from bankruptcy,

to design a car as well selling ( and relatively reliable) as the 405 platform

of course being a FIAT of over 1301cc virtually NOBODY bought it.., :bang:

but over the years they have proven reliable / durable:cool:

AND I still LOVE the look of them..,:D

it does look kind of famillullar..,;)

gorgeous with it..,

The car - not the middle-aged bloke in red shorts scout :D

what engine..?? mine was the 2.0 - with climate:worship:

Charlie

It's a 1.9 TD. Trying to work out the bhp - any idea how to find out? I think there were different versions, but it can't be 66 (wouldn't move?!) must be more like 90?

2.0 with climate sounds luvverly! Still at least it's got the digi dash! It's my 1.4 DGT Tipo clone, ahem.....

This was a Didcot car, oddly, that's why I was asking. Typically it had moved to Bury, rather than being conveniently nearby!

Thanks Charlie.

Plenty of history with it, but no brochures sadly! As far as I know, I don't need anything mechanical at the moment - I guess that'll come later....

When it's back (can it be back, when it's not been here already?) we'll have to meet up & you can prod round it! (y)
