I remembered seeing this sign many years ago, but then couldn't remember exactly where it was to go back.

Well today, I stumbled upon it again - hurrah!

Although they hardly ever work on FIATs now (because hardly anyone has one) - they did still have a stack of Puntos out the front (in very bad condition) and one Panda - but said they aren't for sale as they belong to the company... whatever reason that is.

One of the mechanics knew a little bit about FIAT and confirmed they left Taiwan a long long time ago. Based on the logo on the shop and the fact I've never seen anything newer than Panda (Except the 500's which are being imported) I guess it could be 20 years or so.

Was cool to finally find it again though :)

Fabulous , happy Christmas

Happy Xmas to you too 😁

Is that the place where they had/have some ex-military Iveco vehicles as well…there was a place there where they advertised on the overlander site…
The whole area is quite industrial with a few different garages around, so it could be the spot.

This place in particular was just FIAT and Alfa (which is now their business, lots of nice shiny ones being worked on, but no love for the Puntos 😞)

Years ago a friend sent me a picture of an illuminated fiat dealer sign in Laos…there wasn’t a dealer, just some random local who’d acquired the sign and put it outside his house!

What takes you to Taiwan?
(Not a planespotter enquiry 😉)
