Technical how to replace sliding door top lock fiat ducato 2008 3 L

hi , does anyone know about the top door lock sliding door fiat ducato 3 L , i bought a new replacement lock mechanism from the dealers, it has a small plastic grabber , rivet shaped on tn the arm that moves to mechanism up nd down, on the replacement part the plastic eye thread rivet hook was not exactly the same as the original part, Secondly which direction does it go on the arm of the lock to move it, can anyone help me, i can ock the door and open it , but the arm will not lift when i pull out the door handle, it sits and i have to manually lift by my self , doers anyone know which direct it needs to face

I have done many on the earlier versions, but it would help if you give a photo to clarify the issue.
Incidentally some of these catches were in short supply and the wrong sides were being sent out, so maybe put the old and new side by side in a photo.
