Technical how to remove the glove box

does anyone know how can i remove the glove box? many many thanks!!!!sorry if this has been asked before but i can't find it with the search.

1 open glove box
2 remove all random crap
3 look at teh lower left of the deepest part of the box you will see a plastic peg

4 use a large flat screw driver to ease the plastic peg out (need a really wide driver) then pull it out compleatly

5 pull the left out slightly then pull the whole box to the left to unhook the right hand side hinge pin

On the subject of the glovebox.... had my catch replaced a while back under warranty as most have I guess, but if I were to grease the catch would I be advised to maybe use silicon grease to prevent normal grease attacking the plastic? Any thoughts or ideas anyone?

geasing the catch wont help, it broke because of unrelated fault.

I know this sounds daft but would the actual bar the the handle clips on to be too short, I mean if you have to slam the glove box for it to set properly. Couldn't you somehow get a longer 'catch arm' from somewhere?!?!?

have you tried to adjust the catcher in another position? maybe if you take it out and twist it in a way that will allow a normal close.
