I know the figure can vary greatly, but can anyone give me a rough idea of how much it would cost me to have the bonnet, front wings and front bumper resprayed? I mean completely sanded and sprayed again, not just an over spray. My bonnet is the wrong colour and finished horribly (previous owner has taken a can of spray paint to it) and I have so many stone chips, you wouldn't believe it!

Thanks guys!

Tony

maybe is the best solution to respray it all... there is always possibility that color will not match to other parts color. i asked some guy over here and will cost me about 500 pounds whole respraying in same color, some extra 100ish for other color.... but price may very vary...

I would love a full respray, but here it would cost me about £2000 I think :( Maybe I am wrong though. I am going to get some quotes on Monday, but I just need an idea of how much I should be getting charged.

Last summer, I had the whole front end taken back to metal and resprayed to match the rest of the car by a local outfit, cost was £400. But don't let cost alone decide your vote. Check their previous work, get reliable recommendations.

The guy`s i used in june , Calder Coach Crafts just outside west calder about 60mls approx from largs . They charged me £200 a panel on top of the ins work i got done, and i could not fault there work ended up with about 90% respray in total all blended in perfect. If you want there details give us a shout.

If you go through my threads ( anoter damaged b ) this might help

Great, thanks guys. There's a local Coach Works that does very good work, so I'm going to try him first. I'm hoping for about £400 - but I'll talk to the guy and see what he recommends I do. The pain on my Barchetta is ****, even where it's no stone chipped, it looks like a poor job. Such a same. This week I've went over the entire car with a clay bar, polished it with G3 compound, given it three coats of AutoGlym Super Resin Polish and a top layer of Bilt Hamber synthetic wax - and she still doesn't have a nice finish!

I second this.

My car has been resprayed before I bought it. The front bumper passenger wing bonnet and passenger door because someone crashed into it when it was parked. Then a few week later the passenger wing was smashed again, and now someone has reversed into my bonnet.

Anyway its very easy to tell those panels have been repainted though i can not fault the finish it is perfect just the colour match is poor. The repainted panels are darker.

Make sure you look at some of the bodyshops work, I know a good one in Rochdale.
