I just got a shipping note from Phoenix Aircargo and it's for £595 quid for shipping 720kg of cargo to the US...

Do you think they put her on the scales or is that a guess?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------From an old post . .. :)

Christopher!
By the time you caught me up at the Border point - I had ordered a cup of tea and drunk most of it!

What's the kerb weight of your Selecta Christopher?

1000 is 700kg
4x4 is 790kg - the info book says it has 50bhp! Extra weight from drive train and servos etc and possibly heavier suspension.......

Flash flew all the way to the A1 when the traffic stopped him being a cheeky little Panda on a Mission

They must of weighed it then... The extra 20Kg is fuel and roof bars?

10kg difference on the 4x4!

just checked my Fiat workshop manual, and it agrees with you.

My Fiat owners manual 715/800

The haynes manual says 680kg:confused:

looks like typical Fiat specs again;)

thought about shedding weight?
fibreglass bonnet ?kg replaces heavy steel
fibreglass bootlid ?kg
carbon fibre door skins?

pandamonium got the scales down to 630kg! with a full tank too!

i do not!!
i used to have a L plate panda (petrol Blue) you know the british racing green version. (before i crashed it):(
it had the OMP 6 point roll cage with rear diagonals and door bars,
fibreglass bonnet (pandamoniums owner had the mould),
and bootlid ( the panda shown on the other thread that is race prepped, white one for sale at middle barton garage! he had the boot mould)
bucket seats
piper panel filter
13x7 superlight alloys and a fibreglass bodywork.
This is NO dream wish list! the car did exist 3 years ago, it was built as a replica of the Red "Pandamonium" race car with my own purpose built arch extensions (Delta S4 Style)
alas without shell and funds to rebuild, kids on the way most of the bits have been sold on :(
sold the wheels last month :(
(think of pandamonium in BRG with Delta arches) will try to post some old pics soon :) give you guys some insparation

On a good note, i intend to start this project up again in 1242 guise unless anyone has a 1348 block.
Will take a bit of time to make the moulds again so watch this space
