Technical How do you get these little lighters off?

Trying to put new fuel filter on.
Is there a good technique to remove these fuel line clips anybody?

Long nose pliers and a screwdriver. Purchase a quality stainless steel jubilee clip to replace.

Thanks. Already got the jubilee clips, but couldn't figure out how the originals should come off. Thank you!
