guys, im pretty sure its 40L. The book states 35L then you'll most likely have 5L for reserve. So let me pull out my calculator. 35+5=40. 40L. +/- a couple of litres probably due to a safety factor of some point and there ya go.

I usuallyfill up when it shows 1/2 a tank & have never gone below 1/4, so can't really help. Usually costs £some (don't really notice) to refill.

Hmm - bit of a useless post really.....

Well the 35L tank is meant to be including the 5l reserve but it doesn't realyl matter all that much how it's phrased because you can squeeze at least 39 and a bit litres in. Next challenge is too see how much lower I can go :p

You can probably get a litre or 2 in the fuel lines. In the days when maximum fuel tank capacity in formula 1 was regulated some of the teams got round the problem by fitting enormously fat lines, carrying several litres. So there's you answer - if you want greater fuel capacity rip out your existing fuel lines and install drain pipes in their place ;-)

but that's a 10 litre reserve

Only if you are brimming the car till it is completely full. Yesterday when I was filling up it stopped at about 34 litres and I had to fill it slowly with the nozzle out to get the additional 5 litres in.

yes - on track the other week

the last segment disappears and the car stops soon after!

what is annoying is that the range display goes blank with still a 30 to 40 mile range

Has anyone ran out of fuel on purpose, just to see how many miles can actually be covered when the reserve light comes on, as I don't trust the software

And having a spare can of fuel in the boot helps(y)
