Hi Garry, I'd go for the 1.2 too, as well as the other benefits also mentioned, you can also continue to be Garry16v instead of Garry12v

You should consider the 1.2 Garry. The 1.4 is uneconomical and the 1.2 is just as quick.

It is fairly nippy, I wouldn't say quicker though. I driven both and the 1.4 pulled better.

thanks all for the reply, ive heard a bit about the 14 being crap with camshafts n things, so im thinking 1.2 it is, who makes the engine? ive got a ford fiesta the now with a 1.25 16v in it, its pretty quick, its suposidly made by yamaha, ohh n if im getting a 1.2 whats it called, i.e 100sx??

Steve that was basically what I heard as well - the 1.4 pulls better when loaded (maybe cuz they were made more solidly with proper bumpers etc. so although the overall figures are less impressive, the bhp/ton is better? me no know!).

Off the lights a 1.2 bravo can just about beat my 1.4 bravo, but i do have 3 tons of MDF in the boot!
