Right probably an age old question for you guys, but being a Bravo owner they have lenses on their headlights so it was a straight buy and fit,
However with misses punto they don't have lenses anybody here fitted them if so any help appreciated.is it a case of buying a set of headlights
thanks

As has been said, hids with reflector lenses is a no no; have you considered a good set of halogen bulbs? I recently fitted some Philips extreme brilliance (I think that's the name) blubs that are something like +120% to my gp, the difference over standard bulbs is night and day (get it!).

It would be illegal to retro-fit them to a car whose lights weren't designed for them. You get a lousy beam pattern because the "filament" (such as they are on an HID bulb) isn't in the right place relative to the reflector. You also need self-leveling headlamps and washers for HIDs to be legal.

In that case I shall plug Clubcento :)
It's the UK owners club for Cinquecentos and Seicentos and the website can be found at www.clubcento.co.uk. The club have held track days, rallies, economy runs etc and a lot more is bound to happen in the future. 20 quid a year and all renewals are in Feb of each year.

Also, working with the club is UAD Motorsports (www.uadmotorsports.co.uk) who do 'cento 1242cc Turbo coversions (featured in Auto Italia) and 1242cc normally aspirated conversions, polished and powder coated cam covers and oil cooler kits and more
