Hi guys,
I ordered a HID kit and installed them. After a few days, one side stopped worked. Now i dont know if i installed it wrong or it was just a faulty kit. Anyway, i got it replaced and i now want to do it error free just in case it was me who installed the kit wrong.
The way i connected the kit before was as follows:
• Put the bulbs in
• Connected to ballasts
• Connected to h/l controller
• h/l connected connected to original halogen lamp connector with some side free (is this correct?)
• Then i connected positive and negative to battery
The guide that comes with the kit says i should connect the positive to the fuse box.

As last time i connected both to the battery, could this have been the reason that one side stopped working? Should I connect to fuse?

And this is the overall diagram.
If anyone can help me with this i would be grateful
