On my Panda Easy, these two buttons are dummy . I've just installed a screen in my Panda and I'm wondering how easy it would be to remove my lower console to gain access to those two dummy buttons.

secondly, I'm planning to 3d print a 1:1 of these buttons, while incorporating a usb into it (Android Auto), is it possible to feed the cables from the radio down to those buttons or is it not feasible.

Thanks for any advice!

I have removed the gear lever gaitor which does lever off. Its a push in to so you have to release two tabs these are near the corners. If you are careful you can do it by feel. I think you will be able to see the swtches. As the cars USB socket is fitted near this vicinity I would be very suprised if you couldnt fee the wires through. I did fin on the Panda 169 however that there was no way through that area when trying to fit a rear fog light switch so you may have to go back behin teh radio and drop down nearer the engine which woudl require more wire.....

Between the back of the radio and those buttons is most of the workings of the heating system - the ducting and the control cables from the rotary controls.. So, while in principle there's a way through, there are several oddly shaped things in the way! These images from the ePER parts catalogue (here: https://eper.fiatforum.com/en/Groups/F/F/GIN/33) might give a clue. One shows the underside of those buttons too. The whole trim panel around the gear-lever (which includes the window buttons and those two smaller ones) can be released and lifted upwards by releasing the clips with a pry tool, and then you can push those buttons up from underneath. Or, as TPN says, just the plastic frame for the gear-lever gaiter itself can be released with care and you can reach through to under those buttons.
