I've had to change the doors on my newly acquired 500x. The old door had privacy glass whilst the new one doesn't. The glass is held onto the mechanism via a clamp and two bolts. I have removed the plastic liner with the window mechanism but at a loss how to get the window out.

There is the black quarter panel at the back but I'm not sure how to remove. Any help much appreciated

having had another go this may help others.

Lift out the rubber seal by the rear quarter plastic panel. Underneath are two Philips head screws that hold the quarter panel in place.
Grab the panel and pull outwards and lift out. There is a plastic tail that extends into the door.

The glass can then be lifted out.

I shall do the reverse with hopefully some pictures.

Yeah, my front door windows are also 70% transparent. I just thought they didn't qualify as "privacy glass" on the account of, you know, the absence of privacy. :D

I meant to say I was replacing the rear passenger window on the driver side. Its all done and works as it should I also swapped out the wiring loon to one with the keyless sensor

Ah, I read "passenger glass" in the title and automatically assumed you meant the front passenger window. My bad. Anyway, glad everything worked out. Good job!
