Looks like great fun! With that winch on it would be interesting to see some pics of it on a 1:2 incline, or will it go steeper?
By the way John, I didn't know M&S where doing tyres nowThis new boss is really making changes!

For anyone that doesn't know..
M+S = Mud and Snow
(a coarse, self clearing, tread pattern with holes for studs.)
The ones above look more like S+M :I

I thought you guys might like my Panda, it's a bit different to lowering, tuning, body styling or adding a sound system to make your ears bleed!
My main interest is off road driving and in particular winch challenge events which I have been competing in for 4 years now. This is my challenge vehicle, based on a shortened Range Rover chassis with Series II body work. 3.5ltr Rover V8, Torqueflite auto box, ARB air locking front and rear diffs with 35" Simex tyres. Front winch is a Superwinch H14 14,000lb PTO driven and rear is a Husky 10,000lb electric.
Having competed in and won some of the major competitions in the UK it would be a little unfair to compete in local events so I decided to prepare a Panda to challenge the Land Rover's, Suzuki's and others locally. So far I have been to a fun punch safari at which I was greeted with pointing and laughing which didn't last long when I drove a section which the previous vehicle (a well prepared 90) had to winch! Panda Power!!!
John H, the tyres are Colway 155 80x13's M&S with a bit of work with a very sharp wood chisel.
Russ, the winch will hang the Panda from a tree! (I'll do it one day and post a picture)

Thats a good one. A panda that can climb trees.
Makes a change from the bamboo jokes!
Nice to hear the Panda can do well in these comps. I've seen one before, sporting a rather snazzy snorkel, with it's bonnet submerged.
