My passenger dipped beam is not working, I have changed the bulb, still didnt work got a new relay from Fiat garage still not working, can anyone help please and suggest what could be wrong

Hi mate,

As above, check the fuse. The dipped beams have their own individual fuses (ie there are two) so make sure you check the one for the passenger side.

Failing that, check the multi-plug at the rear of the light unit. Remove it and inspect the pins for any tarnish/ corrosion.

Then check for power at the multi-plug connector with a multimeter. If you have power at the multi-plug, then check for power at the bulb connector, as I have known these head light units to fail internally.

Have now fixed this, it was the earth connector lead, where the lead goes onto the back of headlight, it was badly corroded, you couldn't tell it was corroded until took it off.
There is another point on the back of headlight you can use so have used that one - light works

Thank you for your help - was a woman in distress :)
