Hello :)
After owning my car for 6 months someone drove into it without leaving any details leaving me to pay to fix it.
I bought the road angel halo pro as it has parking mode and went to halfords to get it fixed. He installed the camera but said that because there is no diagram of what the fuses are then he doesn't want to remove any etc.
I went to the fiat dealership but they seemed very wary about hardwiring the dashcam and said that the best they can do is find out where the 12v cigarette lighter fuse is and plug it into that fuse, which is OK but it's not a live fuse so I won't be able to use the parking mode function on the camera.
Just to add the hardwire kit is the official road angel one.
Does anyone know where I could find out what the fuses are?

It seems fiat are keeping this info secret as they don't want to deal with anyone mucking it up

As you say, the instruction manual doesn't help at all

It must be in their workshop manual, although I can't find that either 😞

Look for a thing thats lve all the time. If you have a volt meter this just means sitting in the car, locking the doors wait 3 or 4 mins and then check the fuses. Just the low amperge ones. FInd a circuit thats live. Pull teh fuse and see what is affected so you know what you will be linking with, and then wire to that.
You could use more or less any wire to power a relay which keeps the camera wire separate. Day time running lights would be good.

Thanks for your reply and advice. I might have a look in the week now when I have some time off work. I don't have a volt meter but I've seen that u can get them cheap enough 😊. I'm going to the dealership tomorrow so I'll see what they say and go from there
