Think I'll just meet you there.
I'll be heading down day before, staying nearby, bringing the family so don't fancy the 3am start.
Rich, dunno when you last went but get there early - the organisers can be far too 'helpful' if you're late.

We'll be leaving the first and stay over nearby also. Event is the second and return journy the thirth. Chartered a second car (127 sport) and 3 more people to go ! i'll look for a campsite someday soon, any suggestions ? I'll also see to it that the bonnet, grille and mirrors are resprayed nero 601 by then, and have a dent to fix in the right rear door and polish and polish and polish...........

Sure, having to put the trailer somewhere always causes undue stress.
Might be able to make some money taking the broken down Alfas to the local garages? Worst case, spray it red, sick a prancing donkey on it and shove it right under their noses.

I've just spotted my old car in some of those photos from Tipo meets, and a nice picture of my own backside.
Damn I miss my sedici! Can't remember the last time I saw one.
By the way, John Lee's car - do I recall someone telling me that despite all that engine work it was actually no faster or powerful than a standard car with a chip?!

Yes i think this was true, But it's had an engine change since so it has none of the engine mods other than a gas flowed head,lightend flywheel.
I've got a few Tipo 16v's . . . All 5 Doors . . so it will be nice to see the difference if any ? when i've put a clutch in it i'l post feedback on her performance.

I hope you lot get together for AutoItalia this year, I will come over and say hi and reminisce.
I would say that it would be great to see my old car but I think it will be nothing more than a pile of scrap now.
