They're good. Do exactly what they say on the tin! One thing I'd recommend if you haven't got one is a boost gauge to make sure it doesn't over boost once fitted.
Also worth noting they do different versions including one with more aggressive mapping but you have to run it on high octane petrol. They also do a further aggressive one that is designed to go with other mods (Induction, Exhaust, FMIC) etc.

They are really easy to fit!. Couple of bolts to remove and open ecu then remove and replace chip (they aren't soldered).

Personally I wouldn't get a generic chip with those mods it would probably be worth the extra cash on a live remap done on a Dyno

What engine do you run? as I notice you've listed a T3 turbo as a modification, the 20VT engine has a T25 Flange and the T3 series won't fit. I wouldn't fit a GTEC 2 unless you have a FMIC, a GTEC 1 is a far safer bet. Better still would be a flea map!

It will be having 3"decatted system made up to suitcar when its all built up too.
thats a bit of a shame like with the turbo lol i was told a T3 flange would fit but no matter i only paid pittence for it ill just whack it back up on ebay.

Cheapest would be a second hand hybrid T28, ranging from £200-500. Simple bolt-on upgrade using existing flange and no need for a V-Band adaptor (which you need for a ball bearing, turbo like the GT28RS) But I'd get a remap before that. I got an extra 50BHP from a Flea remap that cost £175 You can't beat that, works out less than £3 for every extra horsepower

What would happen if you used normal petrol with a chipped 20vt?
Apart from the chip its comptly standard and fueling was fine, it was on rollers at 259 but I was told it was ok to use normal fuel.
The chip was on the car when I bought it.

There are two GTEC1 chips. One that's ok to run on standard fuel and a more agressive one that NEEDS to be run on super unleaded 97/99octane. The GTEC2 I believe is if you have heavier modifications.

I believe the standard pump is good up-to about 300-350bhp depending on mods.
Thanks chrisuk, I must have the one the first one a sthe guy told me its cool to run it on normal fuel but I though it best to check.
Personaly id rather have remap, the chip will be comming off when I have all my bits and pieces to go with my garret t3 turbo with rollerbearing.
to be fair my cars runs great with the chip, no lumpy idle like i had with the evocars chip I was running on my 16vt.
Also I need to know if you need the colder spark plugs as I did with the evocrs chip on my 16vt?
