Do I have this new ground strap in the right place? Wear does the other end go? I have one end on the alternator.

Also in the parts I have I see two ground straps. Any advice? I think one is connected to the engine mount.

Was that mail order or were you lucky enough to go to Napoli?
My earth strap, only one, is connected between the engine block and as per paolo66 the same position on the cross-member. I don't know if that's factory correct but it seems an efficient connection as the current for starting, lights etc is strong.

Viggers I lived in Italy for 6 years...just outside of Napoli in a town called Teverola and also a big north in Gaeta. This fiat was my daily driver but after I moved to the US it sat in the garage for a couple years. Now I am working on bringing it back to life
