Introduction
Thought I’d add this Panda which I’m responsible for the maintenance and washing of to the garage. Particularly as I get into some more in-depth jobs soon that were left a little overdue…
This is a bog standard, basic as they come, 1.2 Pop finished in White and bought via the £6,999 offer back in 2015. And to be honest the more basic it was, the more it appealed to my grandmother. The basic radio… a plus instead of a touch screen! The lack of key buttons… not an issue to her!
Having sold the 2005 Panda Dynamic that would become mine in 2015 she’d replaced it with a new but outgoing Hyundai i10 in its top spec (you could tell because it had a second set of keyfobs for the remote locking…). That car was so bad even she wanted rid of it and she has very little interest in cars to begin with. When she had to give some thought what to replace it with, the Panda was the perfect solution as she’d driven the 05 model from 2007 - 2013 without issues.
Since then it’s had the occasional wash… an annual oil and engine air filter change and a new tyre.. only when faced with an upcoming MOT… a splash of screen wash from time to time and that’s it.
Never an engine light, never strange unexpected behaviour. Just clockwork running as we’ve come to expect from the FIRE 1.2.
