Hello. Has anyone used a gas vapor trapper or similar product that prevents gas smells in garage? The Vapor Trapper looks like a good product and seems simple to install. I have a 1972 850 Spider. I appreciate any input or thoughts. Cheers.

Interesting you say this than 850 spider. Basically the 30dic carb seems to give off more vapour than most cars when parked. Often in the engine bays you can smell the wiff of petrol. Possibly either fit yourself an electric fuel pump so you can switch it off and use up the fuel in the carb before you close the garage and so no fuel can vapourise. Or convert to a carb like a 32 dmtr which gves off much less vapour.

If you leave an 850 coupe/spider for about 5 weeks then when you restart it it takes a bit of cranking for the mechanical pump to reprime to cover the vapourised loss.
