General fuel pump on a 2.8 jtd

Seems like the high pressure fuel pump has gone out on my 2000 Ducato 2.8 jtd motorhome, this is after spending momney on injectors and cam belt! What sort of price should I be looking at for replacement. I have found reconditioned pumps for £240, but what should labour cost?

Is the pump for the same reason the injectors were changed, if so I would get a good diagnostic check before throwing more money at issue.
What was the original problem? Or the reason to replace the injector pump.

I agree with @bugsymike's post above.

On the 2.8jtd the hp pump is mounted on the auxiliary assembly above the oil filter. For access from above, the intercooler hoses need to be removed, and the power steering reservoir needs unbolting, and moving to one side.
There are two electrical connections, fuel lp inlet, fuel return, and hp outlet to remove before unbolting. Standand Fiat advice is to replace any hp fuel pipes that have been removed.
With pump removed, the hp regulator, and 3rd piston solenoid would need to be transferred to new pump prior to fitting.

The basic operation is detailed in the attached extract from Fiat eLearn for the 244 model. I have not had cause to change the hp pump on my 2.8jtd, but it seems easier then changing the cambelt, which I have changed twice.
