I had to remove the fuel rail on my 2009 fiat panda 2 1.1 to change a faulty injector. On trying to release the fuel line connector it broke. Consequently I had to cut the flexible pipe in order to remove the fuel rail from the engine. I managed to get the plastic connector out of the broken release mechanism but having cleaned off the remains of the pipe I cant get it to push into the remain flex pipe again. Iam presuming I'll have to buy a new line does it connect in line somewhere or go all the way back to the tank.
Thanks hope someone can advise

All the way back to the tank, under a plastic cover I believe

There quite a few variations, pre and post 2007, 4x4 and so on

Too late now, but to release these connectors, you normally have to twist and push it further on, before you push the two clips in and pull back, the pressure pulls it slightly up the tapper stopping the clips fully disengaging when you push them in

I still have a local breakers that would allow me to cut the connector off and then just use a straight coupling

It's unlikely that a panda would be in stock, Punto, 500 would do, if there's a panda obviously I'd just remove it whole

But it depends what you have available and or local to you

Someone on eBay breaking a panda would probably sell you one if you message them
