Just joined after reading many of the posts on Maria Weekender and others. Yes my tailgate catch sticks - use my key under the rubber to pull it down. My Bravo and brava both had failed rear wiper motors. Got the poor performance problem at present at low revs. Been told it could be the manifold cracked, bad gasket or the latest is the cat needs replacing. No mention of the Lambda which may be gone as I have done 59000 in this car. Going to disconnect the battery for 40 mins and try and drive SLOWLY for 300 miles to rest the engine monitor thingy to see if this sorts it. I agree Leaders in Bootle are a waste of space, tried 5 times on different occasions to get the steering wheel mounted correctly and stilll couldnt manage it. Saw the mechanic who was wearing a customer friendly "F*** Off" T shirt. Also avoid Reg Vardy in Glasgow who has just taken £500 quid off me for a new clutch. They also drained the oil I had replaced the previous day and swapped the filter as they said there was too much in. The level was only showing up to the top of the dip stick hatched area which should be fine. Hats off to the local mechanic who spent all day analysing my car and didnt charge me as he didnt do any maintenance work. Reg Vardy charged £55 just to hook it up to the diagnostics computer.
