Hi there, I am brand new on here so not sure if I am posting in the right place. I bought a Fiat Bravo Diesel (2008) a few months ago. It had been running ok but began to make a rattle when idling. The garage has told me it needs a new flywheel. My question is, has anyone on here had the same issue and is it worth changing? I once had a Volvo and when the DM Flywheel went on that, it wasn't worth repairing and was written off. Grateful for any and all responses. Thanks, TC

That depends on how much are you willing to spend on your car. I personally would do clutch replacement too while it's dissasembled as precaution.

Thanks, yes I think I would get the clutch replaced at the same time. The car has actually stopped making the noise it was making. I have made about 10 journeys (around 100 miles in total) and it hasn't made the noise it was making.
