Have you had any problems running cinqucento sporting alloys on your panda?
I considered doing it but thought that there may be issues going from 4J to 5.5J.
Where did u find them?>

No issues though steering a bit heavier, but leather Cinq Sporting steering wheels helps. Handling and ride much improved too

Think they have put speedo out (or do all Panda's show 100mph when ChavNav sais 91mph LOL) but other than that no issues.

Cinq/Sei sporting alloys (measuring 5.5x13 inches, Seicento Abarth alloys are 5.5x14) are generally hassle free. Take steel wheels off, put alloys on, drive away. I've had two sets, both of which had the original 165/55/13 tyres on. A typical panda will have a 155/65 profile tyre, or thereabouts, meaning that on the alloys the rolling radius will be lower, making the speedo read higher than before. It'll still under-read though, so it's not really an issue, unless it was perfectly calibrated from the box (unlikely).

Thanks Fuzzy for clarifying. I like the fact Mandapanda's speedo runs slightly optimistic - especially with all the speed camera's about. Got a clean licence - don't want points for being a couple of miles over ! (y)

I think you're meant to keep the pressures the same as in the handbook even with different sized tyres.

Thats because pressure is pounds per square inch, more inches in contact with the road means the pump puts more air in to get the same pressure. Hard to explain but yea, same pressure as the handbook

Different sized tyres and especially those with different profiles will require different pressures. Lower profile tyres generally need higher pressures when compared with those of a higher profile. Best to consult the tyre manufactuer if in doubt.
