Technical Fiat Strada Help

Hi all.

I'm new to the forum, and came here out of necessity. I am a South African in the Netherlands and I recently bought a Strada, 278.178, 1.7L, Diesel, 2000 with 44 000 km on the clock. Knowing the age of the vehicle, I expected synthetic parts and sensors to be in a bad way. So they were. I've gradually started replacing components, but I'm having trouble finding or accessing components and would like to know if someone has a workshop manual for this vehicle for purchase?

With the engine series number etc. I may have technical data and cambelt timing data from trade manuals.

I know Haynes publsihing did a workshop manual for the UK Strada years back. Try googling and I expect you will find one.

Nothing under Strada but this Punto 1.7 D Turbo details list your 176A3.000 engine.

Not enough to rely on for the rest of vehicle I would have thought.

Is this the pick-up Strada made in Brazil?

Nothing to do with the Strada we used to get in the UK, and very different to most European FIATs.

I understand it's based on the more common Palio model, so maybe if you can find a Palio manual it might help?
