Hi,
I have been changing the oil in my differential and used SAE 75W-85 oil. I bought enough so I could change the oil in the manual transmission as well.
But now I'm confused. Can I use this oil in the transmission (is the correct term gearbox in English)?
I will attach some files to this thread.
If I understand correctly from the information in the Fiat handbook, SAE 75W-85 oil is recommended for both the differential and the transmission (the handbook says "gearbox").
However, there is an instruction video on YouTube from Haynes that shows how to change transmission oil, and in this video, they say to use SAE 75W-80 oil, so 80, not 85.
Can I use SAE 75W-85 oil on my my transmission (gearbox, not automatic) , does anyone know if this is incorrect/correct?
Screen shot from Youtube instruction video : SAE 75W - 80W

Thank you!
