Hey sorry we lost you man - nobody even had your phone number to try and find you. Bloody horrible weather but still a decent day out all in all. Will try and get the pictures posted up tomorrow evening as im knackered at the moment and cant be bothered.

Finally home...after 3 diversions I flooded my engine and had to abandon my car just outside bishopbriggs, godamned rain!!!

I did get it started again but it sounded like a lawnmover and kept dropping revs and stalling about 2k. Will go back to it tomorrow night...perhaps.

Oh dear, the weather on the way home was a nightmare. I didnt need to use my wipers, as the rain was so heavy it was just running up the windscreen.

Can i just thank all who turned up- weather was **** but nice to meet some new faces

The rain was actually that heavy on the way home i turned my wipers off cos doing 70 on a motorway,the rain was just running off the screen.

That's pretty much it for 2006 on the site - well, in terms of meets, but there are plenty of plans afoot for 2007. In terms of weather, I think that has to be the worst we've had at any meet so not bad going, and still a decent enough turn out. Plus, we picked up a few new members!

On a wet, windy and damned right cold night you've reminded me exactly why this site is up and running. Im soaked, but do I care? For a winters night in Edinburgh it's been the best laugh I've had in a while. Cheers.

Believe me, the finger is well and truly on the pulse for our 2007 events...expect news very soon

i never got any photos as the camera aint great on tis phone and was too dark anyways but im sure mark and martyn got the most of the pics anyways.

Am lucky to be in at all after the meet as everytime my car hit water on the road the car lost traction lol

yeah many apologies folks, Had intended on coming even though both my rear trailing arms are shot to buggery, but ended up with...emmm...a bed guest on saturday night!

I'll organise something into the new year and make it up to that! I take it Edinburgh is the location of choice then since its more central for everyone?

And get the frickin' pics up! You cant get the staff these days...I stayed up late to get the Glasgow ones online that night!
