Fiat-Scotland Christmas weekender!

Hi folks!!

The FS Xmas weekender will be taking place in Perth, 21st-22nd of November, in plenty time before Santa comes and christmas shopping begins in full swing!

On saturday, the plan is to go for a Meal and a few drinks in or around the town centre, The sunday should be a nice drive through the perthshire countryside and hopefully get a few photographs of the cars (weather permitting!)

Rooms can be booked cheaper for those staying overnight at travelodge if booked in advance

Can i just check you are aware we are still in June and we still have almost 50% of the year to go before we get to christmas. O n saying that I will be there i will book the time off work now that way i have achance of actualy getting the days off.

Who knows what contract we'll be on then though :speechless: I'll pencil it in but am not promising anything

Ha, that's EXACTLY why we're organising it now. In June/July the hotels are still cheap, folk can still put aside money and (hopefully) get time off work.

Leave it til a week before and believe me, it's a very different picture!

Work and money permitting, I'm hopefully up for this as well. Just going to be another expensive few months for RGZ, but hopefully I can set asside the cash. May be able to get the time off work too, but depends where I'm working at that point I guess.

Hell, even if I can't make it for the full weekend, I can certainly try and make one of the days

Generally, yeh, most folk try to if possible but then it's up to yourself entirely!

Have to say, not 100% I'll be able to go though. Got a week off the first week of December. Shall try and move this to that week OR get the right hours for that weekend like an early on the Saturday and an off day on the Sunday. I just know how inflexible my work can be

Good stuff. I think my chances of getting the weekend off are improving. Checked the holiday rota and no one else has holidays put in, so should be able to switch my week off. Shall confirm when I ask my manager, when he eventually reappears at work
