Hello all,
My Fiat Punto first complained about an ESP/Hill Holder warning, to which I switched the engine and ignition off and turned back on again to find that my entire dashboard instrument cluster has stopped working. The only thing that does work is my digital odometer appearing when the door opens and an icon to show my dipped lights on are.
Quick searching revealed that it could well be a fuse that's blown (hopefully blown due to old age and nothing else). I have read my manual to find that the fuse for the Instrument display is Fuse 3 inside the Glove box, which is 5 amps.
Just wanted to ask if this sounds right before proceeding to check and if I needed to disconnect the battery before removing this fuse.
If in the event it is the fuse, which fuse would I need to get. I know I need a 5 amp one but is it a blade fuse I'd need and which number? I was looking at this one: https://www.halfords.com/motoring/t...ed-mini-blade-fuses-5-amp-fuse161-707342.html
TIA
