Hello everyone
I bought a fiat punto 1.4 16v multiair 105hp
I gave the neighbor a try, however, the man was used to the automatic and did not press the clutch when starting the car, the car went forward and after that it did not want to start, and the engine made a noise similar to a fan, when I removed the battery terminals it stopped and when I put it back it continued for about 2 minutes after that it just turned off, I drove the car for about 20 minutes I didn't notice anything unusual so if possible any advice why this happened
Thanks in advance.

Go over everything with a fine tooth comb looking for damage. Get a good scanner tool on the car to check all components controlled by the computers.

When was your timing belt and accessory belt changed? The bump almost certainly won't have directly damaged the alternator. However, it could be failing from rot within the iron core. Look for cracks in the alternator body and ideally remove the belt to check for free rotation. Mine made sounds like a fan rubbing before it seized up.
