General Fiat Panda Classic: Webasto Roof

I am just wondering if the double webasto sunroof on a Fiat Panda can be installed into a standard Panda Classic? Does anyone knows if there’s a company doing these installations? I believe you can still buy the webasto material to replace the existing ones? If so where?

A few years ago (15+ years probably) I read an article in Practical Classics about a firm that restored old webasto sunroof and installed them in existing examples as well as cutting out and making a brand new one for cars that didn’t have one previously. I think also they had all the templates for all these models?

Do you mean the twin fabric sunroofs as they were factory fit, required a different roof panel and headliner, plus mounts for bracketry etc…it is possible to weld one in from a donor car, theoretically.

Thanks for your response. It was just a hypothetical question and to be honest I couldn’t bring myself to cut into a solid Panda Classic! In any case I have bought a genuine one now.
