Hi everyone

I have the following problem: when i leave my car (with or without locking the doors) or shut down the engine, there is a chance that my 4 windows open spontaneous, either immediately or after a while. I went to my garage and it is a known problem with the first models of the idea (2004). They replaced the bodycomputer which didnt help. I tried removing the battery from my electrical key, also didnt help. Anyone any suggestions what the problem could be, and how to test it?

has your car got 'global closing'? (open/shuts windows when doors locked/unlocked)?

EDIT - just checked, yes the drivers & passengers doors have a control unit in them.

yes, snowing and raining? how can i test/check this? With motor you mean the electrical motor? and where is this located?

well i have had a few times that the doors were trying to open themselves over and over and over, you kept hearing the ticking of the locks, that in combination with the windows opening. i have removed the door panel and i see the window motor and right of it is a black box with 3 connectors , if i remove this box and open it you see a "electric panel". Is this the door lock motor or is it something else. Then i see if they are wet or maybe can test with some water to see if i can trigger the same effect.
Can this problem be from one of the foor doors or only the front doors?

yes, both sides have such a box with 3 connectors. Do i need to unplug (all 3 plugs?) them one by one to see if the car keeps having the problem?
