My headlight go down when using the down switch in the cab (from 0 to -3) although it shows position 3 not -3. I can drive them up to 0 again but not up beyond that point. If I disconnect the headlight connectors I get the same results, implying that it is the control system and not the headlights units. I am hoping it is a simple fuse somewhere but cant seem to find and useful wiring diagram. Help..!!

on my 2017 model 0 is the top highest position.
1 is one down
2 is two down
3 is three down the lowest.
So there are no minuses or pluses just 3 lowest, 2 next to lowest, 1 next to highest , 0 the highest.
One push on the down switch takes it down a level e.g. 0 to 1, 1 to 2 or 2 to 3
One push on the up switch takes it up a level e.g. 3 to 2, 2 to 1 or 1 to 0

I have had four Ducatos. 2008, 2009, 2013 and 2017 and the beam adjuster has behaved in the way I described in my reply.

As Ray says, only 0 to 3, 0 effectively being the "default" setting.
The earlier X244 had a full description of use in the manual, including a matrix of recommended settings by vehicle type and loading.
