This will be interesting, very few have done this conversion but it can be done

My old car is a shell now but I'm on the wrong side of the ocean Keep track on ebay, theres a few being broken up. 1.2 all the way to the 1.9 have the same subframe and wishbones just have different brakes and struts so any of the lesser models should do

Yeah i wanna be that other person aswell ..this is gonna be hard

but so so worth it..
yeah to widen the search im gonna look for any bravo now, only reason for the 1.8 and HGT. due to fact already has rear discs ..then again its the arm and all the components to work with the v6. Hmmm, i think i may do a 5 stud conversion, so i can eventually get the 310mm GTV Discs

What I would suggest is totally overhauling the look of the V6 lump when you get it and totally prep the donor car before sticking it in (if you haven't got to fabricate engine mounts etc)

Most people that do engine conversions leave the engine looking used. For me, it ruins the end product.

Sounds like a very good conversion, I can guarantee you now... that V6 Alfa engine is going to sound saweeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!

Only the HGT had rear discs as standard, the rest had drums... I'll be doing a rear disc conversion in the next few days, I'll be writing a guide up for it

Which subframe will you be using?

one question:
what are you going to do about the drive-shafts? -customs?
by the looks of the engine.. it won't fit in the small bravo engine bay some modifications will be necessary.. or am i wrong?

how easy is it to register/MOT a car with a swapped engine?

sorry to be the bearer of bad news but im sure chris has droped the project, il tell him to come on here and back it, last time we spoke he was just tidying it up and keeping it as it is, with the idea of a 20v marea at the end of the year,
