Hi there - I recently (stupidly) drove my Fiat 500S into the back of my dad's car. As a new driver, I have avoided using insurance so have paid £800 out of pocket for the repairs to my dad's car and now I'm looking at repairing the damage to my car.

As you can see in the pictures, the damage to mine was actually fairly limited - one of the whiskers did pop out but I managed to glue that back on without an issue. But I have bent the leading edge of the bonnet and cracked the small upper grill.

I can find a replacement part for the grill, but I was wondering if it was a bumper off job or if I could replace it without removing the bumper? For the bonnet, I can find either painted or unpainted parts - the painted bonnet being around £300 and the unpainted bonnet being about £150 - does anyone have any idea what the cost of painting a replacement bonnet would cost if I went for the unpainted option?

As I understand it, the colour (712/A, Countrypolitan Yellow) is quite a rare colour (especially on the S trim, in terms of replacing the bumper which I don't think I need to do) so I haven't been able to find the bonnet in breakers so far.

I reckon the bonnet will repair finding the black trim could prove harder, there's a seller on Ebay something like club Italia that you could ask re the trim
I've found the trim without an issue - but my question is whether I would need to remove the bumper to do the repair?

If you can remove the bumper it ultimately maybe easier, however removing a ten year old bumper if it's never been off could take several hours vs. 10 mins at most if it's been off recently?
