Technical Fiat 500s 2017 (no NAV button on screen)

I’ve spent hours trying to install maps or mirror my iPhone or even connect Car Play but I’ve failed. I’m beginning to wonder if my car’s radio unit has the facility to perform any of the above. The unit does not seem to have a NAV button on screen either. Can anyone please help or offer advice?

What are you trying to install maps onto the u connect unit in the car?

Or on your phone?
As for car play not all units have support for carplay/android auto
It would require it to be a option selected when the cars was built
If your dosnt have the right software it won't work

There are ways to get it to work with custom proxi coding but it's not something I've done

Hi Chris thank you so much for your reply. So it’s probably as I suspected. I understand that Uconnect no longer works, but I thought I could mirror my iPhone or get Car Play to work but as you say, my unit probably doesn’t have the correct software, which leaves me wondering what to do next. Could I buy another unit that has the software or find someone who can install the coding?
I’m so disappointed as I’ve just bought this car and I love it. Thanks Jean

U connect works just fine it's just the app that doesn't it didn't really offers any features
