I have a Fiat 500 POP 1.2 Dualogic 2010. It had a starting issue, where if it had been left standing for 8 hours or more, when i turned the key in the ignition, there would be silence for 10 secs and then it would start. After a while, it progressed to silence for a few secs, then a loud clicking sound for another 5 ish secs (times varied) and then the engine would start. In winter it seemed to start better.
The issue was actually with the dualogic gearbox. It had a leak due to a damaged seal, and therefore it was loosing pressure while left standing, and so when i tried to start the car it was struggling to find neutral so that it could start, hence the clicking, which was the actuator.
I hope this is helpful.
