East Midlands FF Xmas Party 2013

Well, that time of year has come again, and the FF team has decided that for 2013, we will be holding the Xmas meal at The Grange Inn, Grange Park, Northampton.

TIME UPDATE - Date is 14th December 2013, ARRIVAL between 6pm and 7pm to allow time to chat and mingle and have a drink before ordering ​

The venue is conveniently located just off J15 of the M1 - with a choice of 5 hotels, 2 of which are within staggering distance of the venue [Campanile & Holiday Inn Express]​

HOTEL UPDATE - as a resident of Grange Park, Stu may be able to arrange discounts on both those hotels, above and beyond any web discounts! If you are interested in staying over, let him know and he will find out what they are offering.​

We will be allocated our own area of the pub, but in addition there are a few added extras. The choice of menus is either from the Xmas Fayre Menu [£10.99 for 2 courses, £12.99 for 3 courses] OR from the Main Menu BUT I can get 20% off BOTH menus.​

In addition to this, they will be running a disco from 8pm until closure at midnight. ​

Also, and yes there is an added bonus - everyone can sign up to the Marstons website - link here and this allows you to have a free drink!!!​

For those that are coming earlier on in the day, it is planned for us to have a FF photoshoot - of course, details to follow, and this is subject to weather and the dark nights drawing in - oh joy ​

Thanks for that, I was viewing it on the Android app and the top banner/anouncement is not shown, just the first text box . The date is not mentioned in the text posted so I didn't see it. May be useful for future meets to put the date in the body of the first text to help us people who use android devices to view the site

Thread updated, all as per 2012 in effect - although I can negotiate discounts with the 2 hotels physically located on GP because I am a resident.

However, I know a few people stayed over the road at the Hilton and made a weekend of it, with all the spa facilities at their disposal
