Is that when it is fully warmed up after a run and settled down?I have fitted new plugs & coil packs/leads & now tick-over is about 1000rpm Punto 85 cabrio
All linkages are free & lubricated.
Goes like a little cracker....straight round to 6500+
Any ideas?
It is a FI system "integrated", 16v, DOHC
nothing so simple as a carb I'm afraid
Oh what age and make of injection. It is a FI system
1997- multi point ignition described as "with static advance integrated with the FI" Weber-Marelli.Oh what age and make of injection.
I just looked up a 1995 manual and it showed Webber carb
I have AutoData technical data manuals
Here is some 2001 Data. The book on right appears to be up to 2008 , middle book is dated up to 1997.1997- multi point ignition described as "with static advance integrated with the FI" Weber-Marelli.
Mr Heynes tells you how to take it apart, but not much help on troubleshooting!
I have a generic code reader, so will try & find the plug/socket ()near the ECU I believe!) & see if it reveals anything...
Thanks
David
If you let me know which is most relevant I can give more detail.Lots to look at
Thank you very much!
Ill let you know if I sort it!
Worth a try!try disconnecting the battery for a couple of hours to see if it resets things![]()
